Woodland Park Fish 'N Chips Dinner Benefits West Paterson First Aid Squad
WOODLAND PARK, N.J. – Celebrating its 61th year of serving the community, the West Paterson First Aid Squad hosts its annual Fish ‘N Chips Dinner on Wednesday, March 14. Proceeds go to training and buying new equipment for the volunteer organization. The event runs from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at American Legion Post #238 at 410 Mount Pleasant Ave. in Woodland Park. Shelton Farmers Market Cancels Winter Sessions
SHELTON, Conn. — The organizers of the Shelton Farmers Market have decided to cancel the winter farmers market on Canal Street. The market used to run on the first Saturday of each month during the winter. Organizers cited “multiple reasons” for the cancellation of the market, which offered fresh vegetables, meats, baked goods and more. “We apologize for this but we hope to see you all in April!!” the group wrote on the market’s Facebook page.
