A teenager was taken into custody on Thursday following a shooting that led to the closure of a popular park. Myrtle Point Park is closed on Thursday in Southern Maryland as the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office investigates reports of shots fired. Shortly before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, deputies were called to the park in California after multiple 911 calls reported gunfire in the area. Missing Acton Man Found Dead In Central Mass Lake After 6-Month Search
The body of a Central Massachusetts man who had been missing for nearly six months has been found. Leonard Mercury, 57, of Acton, was recovered from Crystal Lake in Gardner on Wednesday, March 25, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said. Gardner Police used drones to search the lake.
