Dutchess Gets $2.2 Million For Water Projects DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- The state is helping Dutchess County improve its infrastructure and protect its land.  The county was awarded $2.2 million from the state Department of Environmental Conservation for three water quality improvement projects. The Town of Poughkeepsie is getting $28,063 to purchase and install mapping software that will be used to electronically map the existing town infrastructure. The project will enable the town to manage its entire water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure system.  The Dutchess Land Conservancy is getting $982,290 to buy a conservation easement …
