A 36-year-old man slammed his pickup truck into five marked patrol cars during a high-speed chase that stretched across two Hudson Valley counties, police said.
The pursuit began just after 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, when a Columbia County trooper attempted to stop a Ford pickup on State Route 82 in the Town of Livingston for traffic violations, New York State Police said.
Despite lights and sirens going, the driver failed to pull over, prompting a chase that moved onto the Taconic State Parkway southbound, police said.
